Girls’ Generation joins Universal Music Group for US debut!

It was announced that S.M. Entertainment plans to release SNSD’s third album “The Boys” worldwide. Earlier today, S.M. Entertainment confirmed that SNSD has signed/joined the Universal Music Group under Interscope Records.

The Universal Music Group are known for artists like Lady Gaga and the Black-Eyed Peas. Their 3rd album “The Boys” will also be released worldwide.

The group will be releasing their first maxi-single (mini-album) by November this year. Meanwhile, they have also released their official Korean comeback schedule as well. On October 19 they will be releasing their new single on iTunes, music video via S.M. Entertainment’s official YouTube and Facebook page, and the release of the physical album. Their 1st comeback performance will be on October 21 at KBS Music Bank.
